How do I delete old Google Photos?
You can use the Google Photos app on your phone or tablet or the Google Photos website on your computer to delete photos from Google Photos. Here’s what you need to do:
- Open the Google Photos app on your phone, tablet, or computer, or go to the Google Photos website.
- Find the ones you want to get rid of. You can use the search function to find specific photos or look through your albums and collections to see the images you want to delete.
- Choose the ones you want to get rid of. To choose more than one photo, tap and hold on to one shot, then tap on the other images you want to select. You can choose more than one photo on the site by holding down the “Ctrl” or “Shift” key.
- To delete the selected photos, tap the trash can icon on the app or click the “Trash” button on the website.
- Confirm that you want to delete the photos.
Please remember that when you delete photos from Google Photos, they will also be deleted from all of your devices synced with Google Photos. If you want to keep a copy of the images on your device, you should download them first.
